 CT/CRT Specific Continuing Education

CT/CRT CE: Advanced Modalities (6 CE)
Saturday October 19, 8:15 am - 4:00 pm with lunch break (12:15 pm - 1:30 pm)

Instructor: Eliza McLean, DC, CCSP

This course is designed to introduce chiropractic staff to the latest      understanding of the relationship between food choices and health outcomes and the key role Chiropractors play in the improved health of our communities. Course material will give staff a better understanding of the unique approach of Chiropractic and the holistic approach to health that Chiropractors offer.

CRT CE: Advanced CRT Survey & Positioning (6 CE)                  Saturday October 19, 4:20 pm - 6:20 pm and continues on Sunday October 20, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Instructor: Eliza McLean, DC, CCSP

This course is an advanced look at radiographic procedures to include trends and challenges of the CRT position, patient and technician safety, skeletal anatomy and WI Radiographic Guidelines. Emphasis will be placed on patient safety and creating high quality diagnostic x-rays.

Morning Track

CSW President or Exec. Board Member Speaker

Objective: What is happening in Chiropractic today - In our state, country, and globally.  It is so important for CAs to be a knowledgeable, as you are on the front line of educating patients.  This class is designed to give staff the knowledge of current topics to prepare educated answer.

Panel of Peers Q&A

Objective: CAs with multiple years/offices experience answer questions that can be pre-submitted via an anonymous survey site.  Questions to open discussion between CA Panel and CA audience.  Possibility to open up to follow-up questions, but stay on a track with submitted questions, comments, concerns CAs are having in their individual offices. 



Intro to the World of Chiropractic Techniques

Objective: 5 Minute overviews of the different techniques in Chiropractic (Thompson, Gonstead, Activator, Flexion Distraction, Pro-Adjuster) to open CA's eyes to the world of chiropractic - there's not just one way to adjust and there is not one principle to adjusting.  If a patient isn't getting better in your office, it doesn't mean chiropractic won't work for them... they just may respond better to a different chiropractic approach.  


Tips & Tricks to Get More Bucks for Your Bang

Instructor: Dave Michel

Staff, chiropractic assistants, consultants and practice managers play a vital role not only in the health of the patients a practice services but also in the financial health of the clinic itself. Topics will include financial plans, agreements and policies, A/R management and review, post reports and much more.
