Course Description
Dr. Chad Oler's course, Developing Our 1st Line of Defense: Addressing GI Health and Dysbiosis to Improve Immune Resiliency puts a spotlight on how deficits in immune function can threaten human health. Available data indicates that the health status of the host PRIOR to infection is the major factor in determining the severity of disease for most people, regardless of vaccination status.

This session will cover what gets lost in the conversation about vaccines, antiviral medications, and all the things that we can do to improve our immune response. While research shows that there are many imbalances that need to be addressed, the function of the GI tract plays a crucial role in the immune response to pathogens.

This seminar will highlight how gut barrier function and imbalances in gut bacteria initiate and control the immune response, not only in the GI tract, but throughout the body, especially in the lungs. Chiropractors will leave the seminar with the knowledge and protocols needed to effectively develop this first line of defense in order to substantially improve immune resiliency.
